Les Champs Gites invites you to experience the perfect blend of comfort, history, and relaxation amidst the picturesque landscapes of Normandy.
Le Potager
Self Catering Holiday Cottage Sleeps 4
Le Potager is an ancient granite-built Norman boulangerie. It is full of character with thick stone walls and old oak beams, making it cosy in Winter and cool in Summer. The kitchen is typically French, with rustic oak cabinets, and has everything you need for your vacation. The main bedroom is built on a mezzanine platform, so a balcony opens out over the huge granite chimney breast. However, it is accessed through a door on the main landing area, so still offers total privacy. The second bedroom can be arranged as two singles or a king-sized double, as you prefer.
A modern Jøtul wood burning stove is available in the cooler months, so you can relax with a Chocolat Chaud (or a Calvados Brandy) and a good book in comfort.
The bathroom, with shower and washing machine, is located on the ground floor.
Outside there is a decking area for your exclusive use, with large parasol and dining set for four. There is also room for a BBQ and sun loungers. Highchair and cot is available on request.

About Us
Bonjour! Meet your hosts, Sue and Ian, the dynamic duo behind Les Champs Gites. We traded office life for the idyllic charm of Lower Normandy, crafting a tranquil holiday retreat. Ian spends his spare time exploring the fabulous scenic roads on his beloved motorbikes, searching out the World War II sites and stories that are still evident everywhere. Meanwhile, Sue, an artist at heart, draws, paints and potters in the gardens “helped” but Nellie the dog, and supervised by Monty and Pudding the cats. Nestled in greenery, our haven boasts veggie patches, happy hens, chubby ponies (and a rather elegant horse) and endless inspiration.
